Don't Take it Personal, it's just business

Do a new madness movie!!

I was gonna say sci-fi, but dude a YEAR?!
What is it, an hour long or something?

At least 20 minutes. In animation work, that's a shitload. Plus I want it to be literally perfect. So I'm fucked.

You should defiantly go for the projects that are most exciting you, but I try to stay away from the longer ones usually. Just since it's so much work and you don't get any feedback until the very end, so it's harder to learn from.

In internet terms you'll be far more helped by having put that effort into 5-10 shorter films and having feedback and being able to develop on from each one.

(I would love to see a sci-fi from you though)

You have just explained exactly what's been going through my head.

OK i think you were pretty self explanatory but the beginning was very complicated to understand.... I won't call you an actor but still you could cuss a lot less other wise you just play a mean macho detective which, in my opinion, doesn't seem good. So far you have a mean/bad detective or cop. anyway about your decision i think you should finish what you started.(if you don't get it I mean Sci-fi first then your madness project that may or may not exist...Hey! I'm just saying!) And yes this is coming from the mouth a huge Madness fan-a-tic but don't sweat it. how is one small text of opinion to thousands of people that may have seen your work... I guess every vote counts.... GO MOC PRODUCTIONS!!!!!!

Do the sci-fi project when you have the most time. Then just do the other stuff at other times.

If you're going to do a long movie, I suggest getting some extra animators aboard. Namely the following:

http://gekon.newgrounds.com
http://jazlyte.newgrounds.com

http://kellz5460.newgrounds.com (Note: She's not the best animator, but still worth checking out.)

If you're going to do another Madness flash, I would recommend that you study up on lines of action and keyframed the character animation rather than tweening it.

Finally, good short film for what you had. Reminded me of many of the submissions that Doomhammr did.

I have considered this angle. No matter what the project, the next one will involve more fbf. I also have considered other animators. TheShadling doing background work is a strong possibility.

I loved the look of the short film. What was it filmed on? The lighting and stuff was all really nice, shame about the dubbing, it made it feel a little stifled. Nice concept though.

It was a Bolex film camera. They're garbage. They look like the camera that was used to make the Zapruder film.

I really love the light settings and camera quality, it gives me the feel of a good movie from the 70s like Dog Day Afternoon or One flew over the Cuckoo's nest.

Addendum to what I said earlier:

Hope these additional suggestions help.

madness project. waay better.

Whichever you decide to do first, count me in as a voice actor for it. I want to work for you again. :)

Will do.

if your going to work on the sci fi project ( which imo is a WAY better idea - starting from scratch with your own characters/style- though i loved heist) why does it have to be 20 minutes? break it into manageable thirds - 9 a piece - people will grow attached to it and anticipate the next installment that way! - -anyways - best of luck amigo, we should collab sometime!

It most likely would be told in parts, adding up to around 20 to 25 minutes altogether. I would want everything to be done before releasing the parts though. So parts 1-3 would all be done before releasing part 1. That way i wouldn't end up abandoning it like the last series I tried to do. And part 1 for that one WAS 20 minutes lol.

Oh and Ricepirate said something about 24HRC this month, but Idk what's up with it at this point.
