Madland - Kickstart the Madness!

Hello everyone,

I have officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for Madland, my cinematic take on the original Madness Combat story. I released the newest trailer this past sunday. Check it out to see what the movie will be like...

Since 2003, Newgrounds has been my go-to place for fan support and feedback. The support/criticism offered by this site is simply unmatched and it is what motivates me to do this stuff in the first place. Now, more than ever, I need that support.

Madland is my passion project and most likely going to be the last flash-animation I ever do. I haven't publicly stated that until today. I've been planning on "retiring" from Newgrounds for a while, but don't want to leave without giving you guys the best experience I can offer.

Check out the Kickstarter page for all the info. There are all kinds of cool rewards for every donation (DVD's, posters, behind-the-scenes access, etc.).

If you don't want to donate, you can still help out by spreading the word. The more people we expose this thing to, the better chance it has of getting funded.

If anyone has any questions, comments, concerns, post them in the comments section of this post or PM me and I will respond to every one of them.

Hate to sound negative, but I wonder how it will go considering the majority of Madness fans probably have an income of a few bucks in allowance per week.

True. It really is a longshot. I'm not naive. But I figure I have to at least try. Been doing as much networking as I can.

It might help if you listed everyone involved with the project, and their credentials, just to let folks know this isn't a one man band. And make a new newspost at least once a week till the (bitter?) end. Really hope you make your goal!

Back your movie with 10 bucks. But I don't think you can reach this goal. I mean madness not so famous outside NG, and sadly you hav not much fans here. But good luck! Wish I can help create movie, I'm pretty good with sprites)

If I had a little money, which I should soon, I'd love to back this. I've never felt so excited about a madness movie, but this is genius. I love the idea. Don't give up on it.
